The Festival was founded by Donald Enos, who serves as artistic director and pianist for these concerts. After having received extensive musical training at the New England Conservatory, Mr. Enos returned to his native Cape Cod, where he is known for his solo work and collaboration with the Chatham Chorale and the Cape Symphony, and presentations on the historically significant 1762 English chamber organ in South Dennis, Massachusetts.
Pianist Donald Enos, a native Cape Codder, is the founder and director of the Meeting House Chamber Music Festival. Mr. Enos holds a Masters Degree from the New England Conservatory. Here on Cape Cod he has appeared as soloist with Cape Cod chamber orchestras playing Mozart’s Concerti K449 and K459. He has played the solo piano part in d’Indy’s Symphony on a French Mountain Air with the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra and performed the Haydn Concerto in D Major, Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, and in April of 2018, Mozart's Piano Concerto No.21 in C Major with the Chatham Chorale . Mr. Enos is the resident pianist for the Chatham Chorale and Chamber Singers, as well as the Cape Symphony Orchestra. He is also director of music at the South Dennis Congregational Church, where he often presents concerts on the Snetzler Chamber Organ of 1762.
